Statiflo Corp is delighted to announce a deal with UK design and manufacturing company Transvac Systems for expansion in the United States.

Transvac supplies jet pumps, jet compressors, jet mixers and other products for process applications.

The company specialises in ejector technology which has no moving parts and therefore has low maintenance costs compared with mechanical rotating alternatives.

Transvac has agreed a strategic partnership with Statiflo Corp, the US arm of Statiflo.

The agreement will see Statiflo Corp sell Transvac Systems products in the municipal water treatment sector across the United States.

The partnership will be officially launched at WEFTEC 2019 in Chicago.

WEFTEC is the world’s biggest annual water quality technical conference and exhibition, attracting thousands of water and wastewater professionals.

Attending WEFTEC from Statiflo Corp will be Lou Mattaliano, vice-president, sales and marketing, and Rebecca Gernetzke, technical sales project manager.

Statiflo managing director Gareth Fry and group business development manager Carl Wilkinson will also be there alongside representatives from Transvac.

The companies have had a commercial relationship for more than 30 years, mainly in European markets. Statiflo uses Transvac’s ejector technology in its gas dispersion system.

Gareth said: “We have a great relationship with Transvac, and its products complement our static mixers very well.

“We’re delighted to be expanding the partnership by focusing on the key US municipal water market, and WEFTEC is the ideal venue for the launch.

“Major industry events such as WEFTEC are an important opportunity for our team to meet existing and potential customers and to showcase our expanding product range.

“Our success over the past 12 months gives us confidence that this year’s event will generate further opportunities for Statiflo.”

He said he anticipates that Statiflo’s gas dispersion system will also be a focal point for visitors to view at our booth.

“Our GDS is a highly-efficient system for introducing ozone gas into bulk flow. It’s a lot more efficient than traditional techniques. Our version is a side-stream system and uses a series of our static mixers to achieve the best possible rates of mass transfer. It’s widely used across the globe, being applied for disinfection, odour and colour removal, advanced oxidation processes, micro pollutant treatment and heavy metal removal.”

Lou said: “We are excited to be displaying all of our engineered equipment at WEFTEC and look forward to welcoming new and existing contacts to our booth to discuss our clients’ applications and requirements.

“Last year’s WEFTEC played a key role in driving Statiflo’s growth in the water and wastewater industries, and I expect this pattern will continue this year in Chicago.

“Since the last WEFTEC, we have recruited several new manufacturers’ representatives and have secured a significant number of large orders from the water and wastewater industry.”

Statiflo and Transvac will be exhibiting at booth number 3860 and everyone is welcome to visit and make contact.

Transvac sales manager Craig Favill said: “We’re very excited to build on our existing relationship with Statiflo to expand our technical offering in the municipal water market in the US.

“The partnership will focus on the introduction of our technology for a number of key applications in water treatment.

“It is an excellent opportunity to expand the business and we are confident it will prove a successful venture.”
