Rebecca Strengthens Statiflo Corp Team

An experienced ozone industry professional has joined Statiflo Corp in a key role. Rebecca Gernetzke, who is based in Cincinnati, Ohio, has been appointed technical sales and project manager.

She has joined Statiflo Corp from Metawater USA, where she spent nine years as a project manager and mechanical engineer.

Statiflo Corp is the US arm of UK-headquartered Statiflo, which is a world leader in the design and distribution of gas dispersion systems, static mixers and other process equipment.

Rebecca Gernetzke, 37, has been involved in the design and launch of numerous ozone systems at water treatment sites across the US and Canada over the past nine years.

She worked with Statiflo equipment at a number of those ozone installations, and said she jumped at the chance to join the business when the opportunity arose.

In her new role she will manage Statiflo Corp projects and support the company’s sales teams across the US, with a focus on its gas dispersion systems.

She said: “Statiflo’s great ozone technology has a proven track record and, with numerous opportunities in municipal and industrial water treatment systems, I am looking forward to helping to grow that part of the business by managing projects as well as supporting our sales team.”

“With their custom-engineered compact design, our gas dispersion systems are highly efficient in dispersing ozone gas compared with traditional technologies, regularly achieving 95 per cent or higher mass transfer.

“They are often used by customers to replace other, high-maintenance, low-efficiency methods for disinfection, odour and colour removal, advanced oxidation processes, micro-pollutant treatment and heavy metal removal.”
